For the points series racers are awarded one point for every racer they beat in Open Class. The only records required are who places what in each heat. Works with any heat size or race format, and requires no qualifying, consies, b-heats or other restrictions. How you run your race is up to you! As long as each persons finish is recorded points can be awarded.

In a 64 person race, 4×2 elimination:

16 people get 4th, get 0 points.
16 people get 3rd, get 16 points.
32 people advance.

8 people get 4th, get 32 points
8 people get 3rd, get 40 points
16 people advance

4 people get 4th, get 48 points
4 people get 3rd, get 52 points
8 people advance

2 people get 4th, get 56 points
2 people get 3rd, get 58 points

4 people advance
4th: 60
3rd: 61
2nd: 62
1st: 63

The distribution can be verified by ensuring that the 1st place finalist receives [Total Racers] – 1 points.
